Responsibilities
- The Senior Advisor is responsible for all aspects of internal and external sales and marketing of our Senior Living Community.
- This position develops and executes a quarterly marketing overview, as well as a monthly marketing plan.
- The Senior Advisor (Director of Sales) evaluates and identifies occupancy strategies.
- This position develops relationships with families and client prospects within the community and referral sources.
- This position works on a team with another Sales Advisor in the department.
Qualifications
- We require a minimum of 3 years of experience executing the sales and marketing process in Senior Living Sales in Assisted Living or Memory Care Assisted Living. Some experience in Memory care preferred.
- Must have a proven ability to close sales. Must be a dynamic self-starter, organized and able to work as a team with internal departments.
- We require exceptional customer service skills.

Job Overview: Oversees the on-going day-to-day operations of the health and wellness department. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the resident care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for all areas of the Health & Wellness department (compliance, planning, assessments, directing, budget, staffing, hands-on care) in accordance with current state regulations and company policies and procedures
- Assure resident care needs are met and maintained according to physician orders, state regulation, and company policies and procedures
- Monitors the progress and effectiveness of the resident’s care plan through written progress notes and through verbal communication with residents and associates
- Evaluates the health and wellness associates’ skill competencies and overall performance
- Complete nursing audits as needed (med carts, eMARS/TARS) to ensure compliance to state regulations and company policies and procedures
- Implement training programs and in-services for all associates in accordance with state regulations
- Provide ongoing leadership to the Health & Wellness associates and ensure staffing levels and shift schedules are operating at the highest level
- Coordinates ancillary support services for residents
- Informs physician, family, and associates of changes in resident’s condition and needs
- Maintains department within budgetary guidelines for staffing and supplies
- Assist with nurse coverage, as needed
- Has 24/7 on-call responsibilities
- Occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current CT nursing license (RN) in good standing
- Four (4) or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care or Skilled Care
- Home Care experience required
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
Physical Abilities:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.

As a Nursing Supervisor you will manage the successful operation of the Assisted Living and Resident Health Services under the leadership of the Resident Health Services Director within our senior living community.
The SALSA will:
- Provide coaching, and direct supervision of all resident care service providers in the community
- Communicate with families and friends of residents
- Conduct external and internal assessments and be available to take on call as needed
- Provide on floor nursing support to our residents and interacting with family members.
- Assure compliance with all resident care related regulations (e.g., medication management)

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
● Spending quality time with seniors and providing direct personal care
● Joining or leading fun activities of your choice with the residents
● Tracking care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
● Light housekeeping services, with the support of the housekeeping team
● Assistance with dining services, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
● Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), strong preferred
● Desire to work with seniors, required; Experience preferred but all necessary training is provided
for associates
● Compassionate, patient, committed to teamwork, dedicated, trustworthy, positive attitude
No certification or license? Talk to us. We have internal training programs that once completed, may qualify you for this position.
