The Saybrook at Haddam assisted living community is seeking full-time Recreation Program Director. This role is responsible for developing, planning and implementing activities and events for residents in our Independent Living and Assisted Living community. Other responsibilities include: monthly recreation staff schedule; creation and distribution of weekly recreation schedule; creation and mailing of monthly activities calendar/newsletter for residents and families; management of recreation assistants and vendors; coordinate and track vendor payments; new hire training; organization and purchasing of recreation supplies and resources; managing recreation transportation schedule; planning and implementation of community entertainment and special events; coordinate programs and events with Memory Care neighborhood program director and staff; and other duties as needed.
