Responsibilities 

  • The Senior Advisor is responsible for all aspects of internal and external sales and marketing of our Senior Living Community. 
  • This position develops and executes a quarterly marketing overview, as well as a monthly marketing plan. 
  • The Senior Advisor (Director of Sales) evaluates and identifies occupancy strategies. 
  • This position develops relationships with families and client prospects within the community and referral sources. 
  • This position works on a team with another Sales Advisor in the department.

Qualifications 

  • We require a minimum of 3 years of experience executing the sales and marketing process in Senior Living Sales in Assisted Living or Memory Care Assisted Living. Some experience in Memory care preferred.
  • Must have a proven ability to close sales. Must be a dynamic self-starter, organized and able to work as a team with internal departments. 
  • We require exceptional customer service skills.

This position is perfect for an RN that wants to transition from a Home Care position to an Assisted Living Community.

Responsibilities: Registered Nurse Designee

  • Assures that a service plan is established for each resident and that this plan is reviewed and modified as needed in accordance with state, federal and company regulations and guidelines.
  • Recommends establishment or revision of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance.
  • Interprets policies and objectives of ALSA service to staff.
  • Establishes and maintains a medication system which adheres to state, federal and company laws, regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensures strong coordination of care with any outside providers involved in the resident service plan.
  • Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, in-services, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc, that are necessary for providing quality care.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of resident care policies and brings resident care problems requiring changes in policy to the attention of the professional policy advisory groups.
  • Performs personnel management functions such as establishing personnel qualification requirements, drafting procedure manuals, initiating in-service programs and record and reporting systems.
  • Available to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. Scheduled hours may change to meet facility needs.
  • Effectively communicates to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of daily assignments of duties for nursing staff to assure 24 hour coverage.
  • Responsible for quality management program; monitors core measures; promotes team building, staff development and empowerment.
  • Responsible for on-call support.
  • Promotes quality resident service and amenities by incorporating the organization’s mission and standards of care
  • Establish policies that govern residents’ right to quality of life and care as defined by the residents’ comprehensive assessment and care plan.
  • Assures that all employees, customers, visitors and general public follow established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that public information describing the services provided in the campus is accurate and fully descriptive.
  • Review and develop a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections, review with department heads as required.
  • Maintain operating policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • May preform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid license in the State of CT
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience

  • Minimum 1 year of Home Care experience or community based nursing such as a community medical clinic)
  • Geriatric experience preferred

  • Evaluates the health and wellness associates’ skill competencies and overall performance
  • Complete nursing audits as needed (med carts, eMARS/TARS) to ensure compliance to state regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Implement training programs and in-services for all associates in accordance with state regulations
  • Provide ongoing leadership to the Health & Wellness associates and ensure staffing levels and shift schedules are operating at the highest level
  • Coordinates ancillary support services for residents
  • Informs physician, family, and associates of changes in resident’s condition and needs
  • Maintains department within budgetary guidelines for staffing and supplies
  • Assist with nurse coverage, as needed
  • Has 24/7 on-call responsibilities
  • Occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current CT nursing license (RN) in good standing
  • Four (4) or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care or Skilled Care
  • Home Care experience required
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

Physical Abilities:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
  • An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities: Registered Nurse Designee

  1. This position is similar to the Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) found in a skilled nursing home
  2. Assist in supervising the medication program, activity in medication room and assisting the residents with self-administration of medication.
  3. Supervise and manage nursing and CNA activities 
  4. Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
  5. Assist in the completion of resident assessments and services plans.
  6. Assist with direct care as needed
  7. Participate in the development of objectives, standards of care, policies and procedures concerning nursing services and the provision of assistance with activities of daily living as requested.
  8. The supervisor will be available to provide relief for the RN SALSA as needed, including acting in the role of the on-call nurse when needed.

Qualifications

  1. Registered Nurse with a valid license in the State of CT
  2. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
  3. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
  4. Minimum 1 year of Home Care experience or community based nursing such as a community medical clinic)
  5. Geriatric experience preferred
  6. Genuine interest and passion for working with seniors
